On your wedding day, all eyes will be on you, but before they do, they'll be taking in the bridesmaids in their Bridesmaid Dresses; what they are wearing is a preview to your wedding gown.  If your bridesmaids are wearing stunning dresses, the guests can expect you're wearing the best dress.   So don't make the big mistake of choosing so-so dresses just because you're on a strict budget.

Dress Up Your Bridesmaids

You wanted to look magically divine when you were a bridesmaid and it is no different with your bridesmaids who are you dearest friends.  Don't they deserve beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses too?  There's the fact that what they wear reflect your personal tastes and significantly, your regard for your friends.  You wouldn't dream of wearing a hideous creation, would you?  And you wouldn't dream of giving them a fit when you hand out ugly frocks.

Bridesmaids are just as excited as the bride, especially the first-time bridesmaid.  Don't prick their balloon BUT tell them you're on a budget and you have to find a dress with a $100 price tag.  Make the shopping fun; do the shopping with your friends and try all the shops big and small and those out-of-the-way. You'll never know what treasures you can find there.   

Check out glossies for makeup, hairstyles, and accessories.  You can always find helpful tips to maximize your looks and even copy dress designs the girls want.  Show the pictures to the sales clerks and they will usher you to a row of look-alike dresses.  If the shop also carries accessories, let try your friends try on the dresses with the accessories to get an idea of how they will look on your wedding day.  Doesn't the shopping already sound fun?

Different Bridesmaids, Different Strokes

Your friends don't come in the same packaging.  One may be thin and tall and have a heavy bust , another maybe short but has a slender waist, while another may be a plus size or one maybe fairer than the others.  Help them make the right choices by studying their body shapes and assess their physical attributes.

When you have everything you need to know, show them which dress design, cut, or length will enhance their proportions or hide their physical flaws and you can always find discounted dresses galore just perfect for their shapes.

As always there is the problem of color.  Some brides may not look terrific in yellow but this can be dismissed if the cut and the fit is perfect, after all, they are going to own the dress which is a bonus.  But to speed up things and to arrive at a general consensus, allow them to choose their own styles but they may have the same brooch or accessories, the same make-up artist if you are hiring one, and the same hairstylist who can perfectly copy the hairstyles of the rich and famous.
